Student Information Management System (SIMS) provides a simple interface for maintenance of student information. It can be used by educational institutes to maintain and process the records of students easily. The project provides facilities like student registration student attendance taking, book uploading and downloading, academic related reports like semesters, students certification, schedule details, student details including the their profiles and subjects they take, resource related details too. It will also show the various academic notifications to the staff and students updated by the school administration. Thus the new system will reduce paper work and automating the students’ information process in the school. In order to achieve this goal, System Study and investigation is carried out and data was collected and analyzed about the current system. We develop the new system using UML and To analyze the system, we have used collaboration diagram and component diagram for design. The new system has the following functions. Student registration, student attendance taking, report generating, schedule submission , viewing mark, upload and download subject materials, parents can view students mark, record updating, submitting mark assessments of students.
